A path between sea and mountains, surrounded by forests and typical native vegetation, through which you will discover a charming Salou. In addition, the final project includes up to 41 viewpoints.

Caminos de Ronda (Coastal footpaths)

Camino de Ronda (Coastal footpaths) is one of the main places to visit in Salou. Walking through this place hand in hand with the person you love most is something unique. Don't miss it! The Camino de Ronda is a 9 km path that runs along the coast from the area of Pilons to the Lighthouse of Salou, located in Cap Salou. In addition, there is another path of 1,250 m from the street of the Falconera (Cap Salou) that reaches the Camino del Racó, beginning of the municipality of La Pineda. Historically, the coastal paths followed the coastline and were used for coastal surveillance or fishermen. The recovery of this route returns the possibility of walking along the coast through the points where it was impossible to do so for many years.

The Camino de Ronda discovers the great natural and landscape wealth of the area. In addition to the different panoramic views that can be discovered on the way, the road runs through different coves and beaches of Salou, becoming a different way to discover the area of Cap Salou.

From Pilons, the trail heads south and passes Capellans beach, where you can be the remains of the old lazaretto, built in 1829. The tour continues through Cala Llenguadets, from where you can see the bunkers built during the Civil War. The last section corresponds to Playa Larga, a natural environment and away from the tourist area.

Although the road reaches a maximum height of 77 meters above sea level, with sections that have a small difficulty, most of the route is practicable for everyone.
